This is better suited to System Wars, but I think Sony and Microsoft should leave those controllers for their next gen systems, they never work as separated accessories.
go nintindo its the role model for everyone but the 360 version is pretty crapy they need to mave the buttons down a bit farther

Actually the same report about the MTV news story appeared on the Gamespot rumor control blog and they declared it to be bogus that Microsoft were releasing this. I quote: 'Not bogus that Microsoft has done research on motion-sensing tech for the 360. Bogus that this is the motion-sensing we'll eventually see the Xbox 360 adopt'. Although I admit any motion-sensing tech kind of seems like jumping on the Wii's bandwagon even the PS3 uses a motion-sensing controller (although not any any greatly successful effect).
Guys, I believe this belongs in system wars.

It is just sad. None of these companies know how to be creative anymore. They knock how much the wii sucks, but then they copy their ideas. It happened with the 64. song made an analog joystick after they saw how the 64 made theirs. They are doing it again. It was only a matter of time, but i hope they rush is and it sucks. They are just trying to cash in on someone elses fame/fortune. Good luck microsoft, but nintendo has been making console for over 20 years, back when apple where the #1 brand of computer, so i think they know how to compete in todays market. Trying comingup with some of your own ideas, not just coping someoneelses.
I don't quite believe it, but if it's true, I just hope they can get it right, I've already played a slew of 360 games that I've thought to myself would be a hundred times better with a wii-remote to shoot a gun or shake to do a button mashy objective. Also it would definitely be ideal for Resident Evil 5, I played RE4 on Gamecube, PS2, and the Wii, and the Wii version was leaps and bounds above the competition just because of the gameplay.
