i think its going to get atleast an 8.5
The DS version looks better than this one. I am pretty dissappointed with some of the things they took out of the game and some of the things they never even bothered to add.

6.0 - 7.0It has far too many flaws. Graphics are not good even for the wii, and before u all start about the ''gameplay that mattters'' mantra, let me say that my rant is that in this time graphics matters because even being ugly the way they are, in offline 4 player multiplayer there is a HUGE drop in the framerate wich made all of my friends to stop playing it and get back to DD (ugh). Other flaws - no options for battle mode (this hurts a lot in the offline multiplayer), no multiplayer grand prix (little rant) and a lot more. Disappointed. The game feels rushed and needed a lot more polish.

I think it all depends on the online right now. If it is good, it could get a 9. If it is bad, it might get a 7.

7.5... and that's probably what I would rate it. I never cared for the Mario Kart series except for the original.
