I finished all my homework today, so I could sit and play LOZ TP, and what doI find - Link won't run in any other direction than the right, because the nunchuk is permanently moving right. This happens sometimes on the PS2, and to solve it, all I need to do is click it in and out, or move it manually in the direction it is stuck in. This does not work. I was finally getting some enjoyment out of the Wii, and it now refuses to play properly. WTF? Has this happened to anyone?Nunchuk is stuck in one position, can't ...
This has happened to me before but nothing to worry about(in my case anyway).Well first just put the nunchuk cord out of the wii remote and back in, if that doesnt work pull the powercord out the back and back in.If that doesnt work i remember reading in a game booklet or wii manuel that you can reset the nunchuck by pressing like 4 different buttons at a time or something.Nunchuk is stuck in one position, can't ...
AHAHATake it you don't own a GameCube or even an N64? ;]
I had this issue over ten years ago, and even I knew how to fix it. It explains in every manual for every game. Unplug the controller, or in Wii's case, the nunchuk. On GameCube you can hold Y, X and start.Oh, and leave the stick at its neutral position when turning the console on.
Another quick fix is simply pressing the home button then reconnecting the wiimote to the wii whilst ensuring the analogue stick is in the default position. Always works for me;)

Anyone should know how to fix that. But I was going to tell the TC that that's what happens when you sit on the nunchuck whilst doing homwork guarding it from his brother
Can people read the damn manuals for a change before playing a game or setting up an electronic device? 99% of issues people have would disappear if they did.
that sux

Put Nunchuck back in Wiimote slot.3. Continue playing Zelda.
what happened is that when you turned it on, the nunchuk had the analog stick in a different position, so the controller thinks this is default positionand will keep going that way. what you do is unplug the nunchuk, and plug it back in without touching the analog stick.
Wait, you came to the forums withoutfirst trying ANYTHING??? Some people are so dependant on things...
When you turn a controller/console on the analog stick will believe that wherever it ios sitting is the center. So when it really is sitting in the center it thinks it's going in the opposit direction it was stuck on when you started it. All you need to doo is unplug the controller or turn off the console.

People need to read more.
Thanks for the help - except for the people who criticised my unwillingness to read through a lump of smallprint gibberish the size of the first Harry Potter book - you say that, while answering a question that has been answered in the 2nd post - maybe you should start reading before speaking as well.
