Hey, I've just got a question about games bought off the Virtual Console...If I had bought a game, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, got up to a particular level and wanted to stop playing/Turn off the Wii/Play another game, would I be able to save at that particular zone? Or would I have to restart from the beginning? Thanks. :)Question about Games from VC
It doesn't technically save your progress, but it acts like a suspend mode where it will be paused at the screen you left off at when you start the game up again. This feature might differ for some games though, I can't recall.Question about Games from VC

Yes. But if you die after starting that game again, you won't respawn at that same point, but rather the original save point within the game itself (if it has one...if not you'd be starting at the beginning of the level most likely).
It doesn't work N64 games, though.
