Red Steel 2 wish list?

Man oh man, boy was RS a let down! I remeber seeing that game in game informer and I was like, ''YES! This game is gonna be awesome!'' I couldn't wait to chop up gangsters with my katana...and the graphics looked great. Fast forward to the Wii's launch and...eh...yeah.Still, the concept rocks! And after games like MP3 and MoH, ubi should have the blue prints needed to not suck.Red steel 2 needs better and simpler controls, graphics that focus on what worked in the orginal (light shining through windows), better voice acting, better sword play, and some online.Red Steel 2 wish list?
my wish is that it never gets made. :lRed Steel 2 wish list?
That game was jaggirific. It needed some AA. MoHh2 controls or better, better sword fighting system... but I'm not sure how they could work it out. The blocking was cool but the swinging was horrible. Keep the same music style, local multiplayer that is fun with more than 4 maps. Smooth lagless online. No more crappy buggy AI.
Just make it not suck.
I hated how you coudn't use your sword at anytime. There were so many times when I ran out of ammo, only to find the only place where I could get more ammo or a new gun was to kill the guys shooting at me, but I can't because I have no ammo...can I use my giant ass sword? NO!
The sword fighting system needs to be completely redone. Instead of standing in one position and only being able to strafe around the opponent from a first person viewpoint, it could be changed to something similar to Zelda or Ninja Gaiden combat. Either way I hope they design it so the ingame sword swings mimic the Wiimote actions. I really don't want the potential to go to waste.
my wish is that it never gets made. :l
It's being made by a different dev team and they promised improvements like online, better controls, better AI and better multiplayer. Surely it won't be as bad as the first one.

The concept was there no doubt, but the whole game was just a messy lack of execution, kinda seems like maybe the game was rushed to get it out for launch. Red Steel 2 definitely has potential, but im not exactly confident in it to be fantastic.

The only terrible part of Red Steel was the sword fighting, which ironically was supposed to be the focus of the game. But I dreaded every time I walked into a room and saw a guy with a sword standing there. The controls were annoyingly unresponsive and not fun at all. The rest of the game was great, although you could tell it was rushed a bit.So my wish list for the sequel - better sword fighting and more solid gameplay all around. They don't need to mess with the formula much, because it was pretty fun outside of the sword fights and occasional bugs.
Yeah, I enjoyed the game besides the sword fighting as well. If it was a bit more exciting I would have been able to ignore its repetitiveness, but unfortunately it just ended up being a frustrating interuption to the shooting action for me.
