time for the other franchises to come to ...

well... nintendo finally released SSBB and mario kart wii is coming, so... what next??? people are talking about starfox, f-zero, kirby, even kid icarus, y personally think that is about time that other franchises hit the wii!!! franchise like capcom's megaman or devil may cry, how cool could it be a 3D version of castlevania using the wiimote like a whip... what do you think???time for the other franchises to come to ...
The Wii's potential is nigh unmatched with its control possibilities...
Let's just hope developers can realize that potential.
Good ideas though - Megaman/Castlevania could both work well. time for the other franchises to come to ...

I don't ever want to see another 3D Castlevania, those belong in 2D. I'm actually really looking forward to a new Kid Icarus, at least that'll be something new, we haven't seen one of those since the original Gameboy. That has great potential. As for 3rd party franchises, they'd have to be exclusively made for the Wii for me to take them seriously.

[/QUOTE]The one and only sequal was on the Gameboy.They've tried that already. Although the only one I've played is Castlevania 64, which still to this day is one of the worst games I've ever played.

Although the only one I've played is Castlevania 64, which still to this day is one of the worst games I've ever played.[/QUOTE]never knew about the gameboy sequel, only played the NES version back in the days...I totally agree that castlevania 64 sucks, I think that is because they (konami) try to make a copy of OoT and dint make it... but think about it for a litle moment: a 3D castlevania where you can use the wiimote like a whip (kinda twilight princess) but not only that!!! you can also throw knifes, bumerangs or axes with it... It could be a good game (actually a awesome game) if they make it right

This is because most don't match up to this ''mass'' or casual market that the wii is geared at. And if they are unable to grasp the reasons why Nintendo is doing well on the wii then they themselves will be unable to replicate Nintendo's success.
