Tony Hawk's proving ground

I read reviews on the game and they aren't very good. I really like the tony hawk games, and I think it would be cool on Wii. The main thing I like in a game is controls, which I read were bad in this game. The one thing I liked was this one review of this game by a kid on Eurogamer. He was like me, and loves tony hawk, and he said the controls were fine. So how are the controls in this game, and is this game worth it?Tony Hawk's proving ground

can I ask what's so bad about the controls? I hear it's like the games on playstation. If you could, walk me through the control scheme.
I bought the game, I love Tony Hawk too. When I bought it, I assumed the controls would be similar to DownHill Jam, but they weren't. I hated the controls for Proving Ground on the Wii. It's been so long since I played it, so I can't really give details about how they worked (actually it was more of how they didn't work). I wouldn't reccomend it, but if you really want to give it a shot, try renting it or buying it online, it's definitely not worth full price. I have Proving Ground on DS and its much better.
Do not get this game, please listen to me i am saving you a lot of time. The controls totaly suck and most of all there is good story. You will get bored of this game in less than an hour and then will wonder why did i waste my time going to the store, and why did i waste my time playing this game.
