Wii Games are too short

Hello, Has anyone had the same problem as me? I find that wii games are way to short and I do not get enough gameplay out of them without becoming bored. I have an original xbox which i found very fun and it took me a long time before i finished the games I had. The only reason I bought a Wii is because the original xbox is out of date and Microsoft have dis-continued the production of it's games. I thought that the hand-movements used with the wii would entertain me but they've started to become tedious. I have a few games including Super Mario Galaxy and No More heroes. Should I buy an Xbox 360 or will that be the same? Thanks in advance, thimitryWii Games are too short
well here are some facts:
zelda=70+hours
smg=70+hours (241 stars)
red steel= 15 hours
MP3= 10-15 hours (difficulty)
NMH=15 hours
Z%26W=15 hours
BWii=10 hours (excluding online)
SSBB=infinite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only joking, but as long as you want it to last (story mode 10 hours)
MK=same as ssbband going on to 360 games i know of:
halo 3: 6 hours
CoD4=5 hours
bioshock=15 hours
mass effect=15+ hours
army of two= 5-10 hoursas you can see, i think its obvious which one has longer games, which is why i stand by my idea of the 360 being a casual console.Wii Games are too short
Games being short is becoming a generality in the gaming world on every platform. I have a PS3 and I also find some games are a bit short, but the difference with the Wii is that online play gives your game a much longer lifespan, that's why you have the impression Wii games are shorter. If Nintendo makes a decent online this impression will change.
Eh, not really.Mario Galaxy took me around 15-20 hours
Metroid Prime 3 was 20 hours
Zelda TP 50 hours
Zack and Wiki can take a while because of the puzzle solving
Brawl lasts forever, Mario Kart too
Loads of long lasting VC games.
etc etc. Unless you want to play lots of online, most 360 games don't last long tbh. The reason I don't have one yet, but have both if you can because they go well together.
It took you 15-20 hours to catch the 120 stars?If that's true, I would call it a speed run. Because it took me at least 30-35 to catch all the 120 stars.If you didn't cought all the 120 stars you didn't finish the game, or at least that's point of view.

It's hard to tell cause the game doesn't track the play time.
so basically what i said because i'm assuming you got 60 stars in SMG? if not, you definately didn't get all 240
i think that's one of the weirdest critics i heard about the wii. with brawl and kart there are two very addictive titles out there and galaxy and zelda are also far away from being short games. call of duty 3 wasnt very long but i think cod4 is even shorter.ofc there are some short titles but u find alot of them on other systems too.
It depends on what games get. My collection consists of mainly long lasting games:Wii Sports - that one's kinda short
Red Steel - pretty long, 10+ campaign
Zelda TP - took 55hrs on my first play through
Metroid Prime 3 - about 20 hrs long
Mario Galaxy - about 20 hours to beat, and can obviously last much longer
Smash Bros. Brawl - basically never endsSo there ya go, I don't really have a problem with Wii games being too short, just buy the longer games.
Wii Sports - that one's kinda short
i wouldn't say that. think i played easily more than 50 hours. the practise games are motivating, the fitness test is fun and it's always a great game to play with ur friends or family
no replay value to any games on wii really
