WIll Link become right-handed from now o ...

Before LoZ:TP, Link was a left-handed fighter, however for the Wii version Link was right-handed to make it easier for Wii-users. So assuming the next Zelda game is on Wii, will Nintendo keep him a righty? And if so, will they make the new ''Links'' right-handed?WIll Link become right-handed from now o ...
Link is not right handed. Or left-handed.

He can do both hands at equal performance!

Its all that bound up sexual frustration from never getting with Zelda....
WIll Link become right-handed from now o ...
what hand was he in Phantom Hourglass?
I bet they'll let us choose which hand we use for the next game...

Didn't he use his left hand in Phantom Hourglass though?
He better not go to the right hand. He was the leading spokesperson, or would have been if he spoke, for the physical ability, heroicism and all-around sexiness inherent to us left-handers.

You will more than likely get to choose if there is another wii version but handheld versions I bet will stay left handed.

Woah, I was just about to make a topic similar to this. Link looks cooler as a lefty, but for the sake of the gameplay, is better as a righty.
When Link to the Past was released, I remember a magazine asked Miyamoto why Link's shield and sword changed hands when he looked left to right. It was pretty obvious they just flipped the sprites and figured no one would notice.. I never noticed. His reply was some awesome story about Link being superstitious and having the need to hold the shield towards Death Mountain at all times. Classic.

the twilight style link is smash bros. is left handed...
I don't understand why they even did this, the wiimote controls aren't even one to one, I like using a controller more then the Wiimote. And I really don't understand why they did not just somehow flip his character model and let you choose what hand you want to use.
Like somebody above has said, hopefully we'll have the choice to choose between lefty linky or right-hand man
If the next wii Zelda is anything like TP, then I don't think we'll be able to choose which handed he is (not sure on the wording there). The reason they flipped Link to righty was so that it wouldn't look wierd for you to swing the wiimote in you right hand and have Link swing his sword with his left. They wouldn't change that, because it would still be wierd. I think this is exclusive to the wii though because of the above reason.
I could honestly care less about what hand Link's sword is in. I am hoping that they actually finish the game, and VA is in from now on. NINTENDO.....GIVE THE GAME TO RETRO!!!!!! haha j/kbut in all seriousness...VA is needed, make the game harder, finish it, and PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK PIG GANON!

[/QUOTE]where on earth did you get that information ? yes the game is mirrored, but link is right handed in TP cause most of the worlds population is right handed.....
I would guess that in the future they would make it a choice so the leftys can play as lefty link and the rightys can play as righty link.
Link in the gamecube version was left handed and the world was mirrored, they made Link right handed in the wii version because most people are right handed

I never said why it was mirrored but I figured that was obvious that it was because most people are right handed.your whole ''Where on earth did you get that information?'' question doesnt make any sense to me... is it that I said he was suppose to be left handed? Because he was, thats how the game was first made and then they just mirrored the whole game to make him right handed. Was it that I said it was rushed? Well I said that because instead of changing it to where link was just right handed they mirrored the whole game where right was left and left was right on everyone... this now made every bad guy in the game left handed. That is something that wouldnt have happened if they were planing on link being right handed all along, everyone else would have been right handed as well.
