Just wondering, who do you hate the Rock Band guitars? They looked pretty cool to me. My biggest dislike though was how the buttons seems very far apart and not being color coded took some time to getting used to. But it looks pretty decent. Well, overall Rock Band for wii will be crappy because the lack of features, as simple as that.
Well, I know Guitar Hero controllers are far more superior than the Rock band ones, but consider this.1. The guitar has to be a lot lighter in order to save on shipping and handling and whatever2. It is lower quality so the doesn't get more outrageous than it already is.3. Chances are, your probably gonna get another guitar, for a bassist, unless you already own a Guitar Hero one, so there you go.------------------------I'm pressin all those fretty buttons, but nothing's happening! I don't mind the guitar for Rock Band, but i have long fingers, so i can reach.
it probably will be packaged with a strat if thats what you ask. i'm not a fan of the strat, simply because it was cheaply made, and they could have done better. I like the buttons on it, but there's no excuse for the strum bar/ whammy bar combo. so many strummers break so easy, even while being played delicately, and it's terrible for left handed players. At least the wii has GH3 controllers is all i can say on guitar wise, but the game itself should be awesome
I think the failure rate of Rock Band instruments on any platform is higher than the 360 console. lol was going to buy the RB game only and use the GH3 guitar until I was reminded about the whole MTV/Activision spat. No RB for me.
I find the buttons take a little more effort to push down than they should. I don't get why they would make the strum bar not click, but then make every single other button on the guitar have to click down to register. It makes it especially hard to pull off the faster passages, and no, the bottom set of fret buttons don't cut it. Also, the tilt function on my guitar was broken out of the box.



And don't even get me started on the drums.
Rock Band on Wii will be terrible, therefore why would it matter that the guitars will also be terrible?And I'm really sorry bro, but GH3 was kind of a letdown. Not bad really, but not nearly as good as 1 or 2. I think they should just give up on it and move on to Amplitude 2!! (aka Frequency 3)
