Yoshi's Cookie question...

This might sound like a weird question but I would like to know if there is an answer. I am thinking about getting Yoshi's Cookie for the Wii and I looked up some info on it and saw on wikipedia that the original name for the game was hermetica and I think they just change the game to look like a Mario game. Does anyone know why the original game name was hermetica? Is there a reason or is it just a name? Thanks. Yoshi's Cookie question...

Well, it is ultimately just a puzzle game, so without researching it, I'd probably say Hermetica was a puzzle game, and Nintendo came along and slapped Yoshi's name on it. Kind of like what they did with Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic (Nintendo came along and replaced the original characters with Mario characters and called it Super Mario Bros. 2).Yoshi's Cookie question...
That might be true, thanks.
From the Wikipedia article for Yoshi's cooki:''This game was originally developed by BulletProof Software under the name Hermetica and published by Nintendo in 1992, 1993, and 1994. In 1992 the game was released for Famicom and Game Boy in Japan. In 1993 the game was released for Super Famicom in Japan and for NES, SNES, and Game Boy in the United States. The game was released the following year in Europe''.
