Cant fish, it appears impossible!!! i am in the case of the hungry cat at the beggining of the game, need help with fishing!!!Zelda problem!!!
Please look in a guide. You have to tempt the fish to bite not just have the lure dangle in the water. Zelda problem!!!

Oh man I had this problem too. Here's what you do- Throw the thing into the water. Eventually, the stick attatched at the end of the string will start to turn vertically. Then eventually, if there are fish in the water, it will start to sink. When it stops sinking, quickly pull back and you should snag yourself a fish. If my guess is correct you are at the beginning. So FYI, you're supposed to catch 2 fish.
Actually if you press b he will drop the fish and the cat will pick it up so in reality you only need to catch one.As I said read a guide there are hundreds of them online some even on gamespot.com
Oh alright. I didn't try that. I just cought 2 and the cat started following me.And yeah. I rarely post ''I'm stuck'' threads anymore just because the internet is chock full of guides. Youtube is a great source. And if they don't have one on youtube then they'll be on on IGN, GS or some other popular gaming website. And if they don't have it then just google it.
